Anti-theft systems - is a complex of anti-theft equipment, component elements of which are: EAS sensors and protected labels, applied to the product, EAS antennas EAS gates, reacting to the penetration of sensors in the field of its action, and also deactivators and pullers of sensors, installed at the cash register.
1. Acoustomagnetic technology.
Acoustomagnetic technology has a frequency of 58 kHz. It is considered the best on the response factor that is 95%. Such a high level "response" provides immunity system and almost complete lack of false positives. Some models of such systems can be installed on wide doorways (up to 10 meters). Another advantage of the acoustomagnetic system is that the deactivation labels can be produced both contact non-contact manner. As for acoustomagnetic protective marks, they differ in size and are not always suitable for marking of small objects. Radio frequency technology (RFID) - is the most popular to date technologies that are used not only in anti-theft systems, but also in many other applications. Its operating frequency is 8.2 MHz. This system is also known as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification - RFID). The main advantage of RFID is a large variety of labels and rigid sensors. The response factor of such system is 90%. Which is very good considering the cost. But it is quite sensitive to different kinds of emissions and interferences, and labels do not respond well from surfaces - ferromagnets. But now this problem was successfully managed/solved - the majority of RFID systems are equipped with a means of suppression. Standard RFID tags have a size of 30x30, 40x40, 50x50, so they are suitable for labeling different goods and materials. In addition, the market received a mini-labels, which successfully mark various small objects.
2. Radiomagnetic technology.
Radiomagnetic technology is notable for the fact that it combines the advantages of two technologies: radio frequency and electromagnetic. So this system is allowed the use as an electromagnetic protective labels and sensors, and radio frequency, which in fact enabled to take advantages of both technologies and thus compensate for their disadvantages. For example, for labeling products with ferromagnetic packaging can be used electromagnetic label as radio frequency for the given task is not appropriate. The disadvantage of radiomagnetic anti theft systems is the limited width of the protected passage - it should not be more than 80 cm in length, otherwise the response rate will be lower. Note that radiomagnetic technology uses two frequencies - 71.218 Hz and 8.2 MHz.
3. Electromagnetic technology.
Electromagnetic technology is different primarily dimensions and properties of the protective labels. Miniature saving efficiency and operation even after bending or breaking, low cost - all these features allow you to disguise the label from the buyer, as well as to place multiple labels to ensure more reliable operation. However, with all its advantages the coefficient operation of the electromagnetic EAS system is only 70%. To deactivate the protective electromagnetic labels is used only contact method (using a magnetic plate or manual deactivator). Operating frequency of this technology ranges from 16 Hz to 12.5 kHz.
